After what many believed to be a disappointing mid-season update, fans are eager to jump into Call of Duty Season 4. The new seasonal update is scheduled to begin in Black Ops 6 and Warzone on May 29, once again introducing plenty of new and returning content for players to jump into. A full breakdown of the new season has yet to be shared by Treyarch Studios, but a new blog post for Season 4 is expected to arrive later today. But before the new season begins, players will want to jump into the final week of Season 3 as Treyarch Studios has confirmed the date for a final double XP event in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

While it was just last week that a Call of Duty double XP event went live in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, it looks like another is set to begin on Friday, May 23. The upcoming event can be found in the in-game event tab buy bot lobbies bo6 and was spotted by Twitter user Detonated, who also notes that this weekend's event will be specifically for double player and Battle Pass XP. Those looking to level up the newest weapon additions, such as the Kilo 141 or CR-56 AMAX, are out of luck. But the good news is that anybody who has yet to complete the Season 3 Battle Pass will have double XP from this Friday, making the grind much easier.

The first official teaser trailer for the new season premiered last week, seemingly confirming the return of two iconic weapons for Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4. While Treyarch Studios has yet to release the blog post for the new season, it looks like the LC10 Submachine Gun and FFAR Assault Rifle will likely be among the new weapons for the game's next season, as they were both spotted in the short teaser video.

Treyarch Studios also recently confirmed that a fan favorite party mode will return to Black Ops 6 with Season 4. While the likes of Prop Hunt and Gun Game have already made their return, fans have patiently been waiting for One in the Chamber to make its way to Black Ops 6 Multiplayer. Thankfully, after three seasons, it looks like the wait is finally over. While it's currently unknown if the mode will be available at launch, a new post on the official Treyarch Studios Twitter account teased the mode's return, as well as a mysterious new game mode that was teased with the caption, "Last team standing."
