  1. Flying Kick

    The Harpy closes the distance with a fast lunge kick from the air.

  1. Wind Gust

    After every three flying kicks, the Harpy emits two powerful gusts of wind from each wing. These gusts deal high damage and cause knockback.

    How to dodge: Stand at a very specific mid-range distance from the Harpy—too close or too far and you'll get clipped. When positioned correctly, the gusts will pass around your character harmlessly if you don't move. Panicking or repositioning mid-gust often leads to unnecessary hits.

Elite and Nightmare Variants

As with many foes in Dark and Darker, the Ice Harpy scales in power and complexity depending on the difficulty tier of your dungeon. The higher the difficulty, the greater the risk—but also the greater the rewards in terms of Dark and Darker Gold and item drops.

Elite Ice Harpy

    Increased health and faster attack animations.

    Wind gusts are less forgiving in timing.

    Can juggle distracted or solo players easily, especially in narrow corridors.

    Drops mid-to-high tier Dark and Darker Items such as reinforced armor pieces, enchanted cloth gear, and rare weapons.

Nightmare Ice Harpy

    Health, speed, and damage significantly boosted.

    Gains a new combo: flying kick → aerial roll kick.

    How to counter: Dodge the first flying kick with a side-strafe, then immediately reposition again to avoid the follow-up rolling kick. Once the combo ends, the Harpy is briefly vulnerable—punish swiftly.

    Often guards elite chests or frost-forged relics, which can contain legendary-tier Dark and Darker Items.

    Killing Nightmare Harpies yields large amounts of cheapest Dark And Darker Gold, making them a prime target for wealth-focused dungeon runs.
