He asks you to Borderlands 4 Boosting locate Scout Horn and help restore the malfunctioning weather tracking system, which regulates the icy winds threatening nearby outposts.

Quest Giver: Defiant Calder

Location: Cloudbank (Belton's Bore)

Recommended Level: 22+

Objectives:

Find the path to the missing Auger scout

Speak with Scout Horn

Defeat the ambushing Creeps

Collect the Power Cell

Repair the weather machine

Step 1: Find the Path Less Traveled

Once the quest begins, Calder hints that Scout Horn took "the path less traveled" up the mountainside. This isn't just a figure of speech-it's a literal puzzle of rooftop jumps, ledges, and gliding segments.

Start from the main gate of Cloudbank. The streets will likely be crawling with Order patrols, so clear them out before you begin your ascent. Once the area is safe, turn right and look for the lower rooftops beside the gate.

Climb onto these roofs using crates and scaffolding. From here, you'll need to make a series of jumps across the buildings, slowly working your way upward. Each rooftop serves as a stepping stone to the next, forming a zigzagging route up the settlement's edge.

Eventually, you'll reach a series of ledges leading directly to the mountain face. Use your climbing Borderlands 4 Gear to scale the first wall, then follow a narrow, winding path that hugs the cliff.

As you continue along, you'll spot another climbing wall further ahead-this one reachable only by gliding. Time your jump carefully, glide across the gap, and climb again to reach a small cave opening illuminated by flickering lights.

That's your destination.

Step 2: Speak to Scout Horn

Outside the cave entrance, you'll find Scout Horn, looking very much alive-but not particularly alert. The scout stumbles around, clearly dazed and disoriented. When you approach, initiate a dialogue sequence.

Horn's ramblings are a mix of nonsense, conspiracy theories, and a few surprisingly poetic musings about snowflakes. It's classic Borderlands humor-equal parts tragic and absurd.

Before you can make sense of the situation, however, a pack of Creeps (feral ice mutants) emerges from the shadows and attacks.

Step 3: Defeat the Creeps

The Creeps are fast melee attackers that deal Cryo damage, so they're especially dangerous in close quarters. Equip a fire-type weapon (such as an Incendiary SMG or shotgun) to melt them quickly.

Use the cave entrance as cover and funnel them through the narrow passage to keep them grouped. Once the last Creep falls, Horn will regain enough composure to hand you a crucial item: a Power Cell needed to repair the weather tracking machine.

Horn thanks you in their own incoherent way, then stumbles off down the mountain, still mumbling about "speaking to the snow."

Step 4: Reach the Weather Machine

With the Power Cell in hand, turn your attention to the weather machine, which lies higher up the mountain. Nearby, you'll notice that a geyser of hot air has become active. Step into it, and you'll be launched upward to a platform with a short climbing wall on one side.

Climb up, then look to your left. You'll see another platform across a wide gap-use your glider or grapple ability to reach it safely. From there, you'll find a narrow ledge wrapping around the cliff, leading to the main weather station platform.

Enemies may spawn here depending on your story progress, usually Order Technicians or more Cryo Beasts. Clear them out before proceeding to the console.

Step 5: Repair the Weather Machine

Once the area is secure, approach the generator beside the large weather apparatus. Interact with it to install the Power Cell you received from Scout Horn. The system will flicker to life, but it's not fully operational yet.

Now, interact with the ECHO-4 console on the machine's side. Your AI companion will run a short hacking sequence. Be careful-this platform doesn't have much railing, and a misstep can send you tumbling down the cliff.

After the hack completes, flip the final switch on the opposite side of the machine to restore full functionality. The giant turbines hum back to life, dispersing the storm clouds over Belton's Bore.

Defiant Calder contacts you via comms, expressing relief and gratitude. With the weather systems stabilized, the Defiant can finally resume its operations in the region.

Tips for Success

Fire Borderlands 4 Weapons are Essential: Most enemies deal or resist Cryo damage, so bring heat-based weapons to counter them.

Use Momentum for Jumps: When gliding between mountain ledges, sprint before leaping to maximize distance.

Save Horn's Power Cell: You can't progress without it-if you miss grabbing it, you'll need to return to the cave.

Watch the Geyser Timing: The air vent cycles on and off-wait for the full burst before stepping in.

Final Thoughts

"Way Too Chill" perfectly captures Borderlands 4's mix of absurd humor and rugged adventure. Between chasing a half-baked scout through snow-capped rooftops and rebooting a weather control tower on the edge of a cliff, it's a side mission that manages to Borderlands 4 Boost be both ridiculous and rewarding.
